Our project for the Istanbul Airport: Electrical Hydrant Dispensers
Trev’s electric hydrant dispenser (EHD) trucks at Istanbul Airport are setting a new global standard for sustainable aviation fueling. As Türkiye’s first electric transportation project certified under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), this initiative represents a major step toward reducing emissions in the aviation sector. With the potential to generate carbon reduction credits over a 21-year period, the project is expected to cut 429 tons of COâ‚‚ annually—totaling over 3,000 tons throughout its crediting period.

Beyond environmental benefits, these electric dispensers are enhancing operational efficiency and safety. Nearly all of the one million aircraft refuelings at Istanbul Airport have been conducted using our EHDs, demonstrating their reliability and performance. By replacing traditional fuel dispensers with zero-emission electric alternatives, we are not only reducing the carbon footprint of ground operations but also paving the way for electric fueling dispensers to become the industry standard worldwide.
